The team at RALI are a close group of highly motivated individuals that show commitment to providing the right product for the job whilst applying best practice principles and achieving a successful finish. The new store is a sunny open plan space with lots of storage space, tint room with prep area and off street parking. An opportunity for our customers and those involved in the build to visit the completed premises and for RALI to thank everyone for their support. Prize draws were keenly anticipated as our suppliers kindly provided an excellent selection of products for give aways and special offers.
Thanks to Sagola, 3M, Sundstr m, Hindin Marquip and ABE for their support, specials and prizes on the day. The Sagola 4500 Xtreme Digital Value GST won by a delighted Warren Kett, owner of Fleet Imaging Southland, a local painter saying he was wrapped and couldn't wait to use it . Some customers arrived in their well presented vehicles and used the off street parking to best effect. At the recent annual DuPont Performance Coatings DPC Distributor Conference held in Australia, Resene Automotive Light Industrial RALI won the 2012 Distributor Excellence Award, one of only 3 awards given out. Larry Fallowfield, General Manager of RALI is immensely proud of the whole RALI team. Russell has perfected the system to a fine art and is able to translate this into product and labour savings at the shop level that even surprised delegates. During the packed 3 days of conferencing opened by John McCool, DPC President, where he outlined the future of DPC in the light of the Carlyle Group buyout.
The intent and direction of the 'new' DPC going forward is positive and strong, with some clear directives on focus. The new owners are focused on growth within the Coatings Industry and are willing to invest to ensure they achieve the desired results. We are delighted to announce that Resene Automotive Light Industrial have been nominated for The New Zealand Aftermarket Industry Awards 2012. The store, still in Te Rapa Drive and alongside the Resene Colorshop, provides extended stock holding with greater access and ample off street parking.
