What you should know about Quadrant Gallery
A lot of my making has arrive out of my desire for something and then learning how to make it. Since 1974 he has taught sculpture, 3D design, and jewellery in tertiary institutions. Annabel Menzies Joyce has been exhibiting for over 15 years, initially as a painter, but more recently expanding her work to include cast glass. Dunedin jewelers David McLeod and chain cleaving will be representing the gallery and displaying their work http aw. The leathers I use often arrive from stillborn animals, and inherent in that trivial tragedy is the infinite preciousness of their life, of the flawless Bess of their form, of their life that never began. Quadrant Gallery will be showing at the National Jewellery Showcase in Wellington's Michael Fowler center from 5 8 June.
Growing up in Taranaki, Kari now lives in Auckland and exhibits throughout New Zealand and the UK. Material that has been transformed by heat and pressure and then transported by rivers to the southern beaches where Anna Claire collects materials to use in her jewellery. Quadrant Gallery jewelers David McLeod, chain cleaving Ted Daniels and Chris dour will be at the New Zealand Jewellery Disclose at the Skycity in Auckland. A selection of work by each artist will be displayed, plus news of exhibitions and other events you may wish to hear about. I try to make pleasing shapes from local materials and make them into comfortable, durable jewellery.
Auckland jeweler Kari Schumacher is now selling her labor through the gallery. Starting Monday 5 December, new jewellery by David Holmes, Neil Adcock, and David McLeod. I had no training in art or design, but did look closely at impaired jewellery in museums when I traveled. Auckland jeweler Kari Schumacher is now selling her work through the gallery.
