Dunedin Accountants JW Smeaton were established in 1914 and since this time have evolved into a modern firm determined to offer the right advice. We are friendly, approachable and experienced and strive to use common sense to talk regularly to clients to advise them on the best systems for tax efficient financial control of their businesses. I originally dealt with David Shelton who was extremely knowledgeable and skilled in sorting out what was, at the time, a relatively complex tax position with a number of entities. I now deal with Jason Cook Cooky who is extremely proficient at what he does taking time to understand all the issues and working collaboratively to achieve a good outcome. I have always enjoyed Jason’s friendly, relaxed manner, and his engaging sense of humour always taking time to understand me as a person and friend rather than just as another client.
