What you should know about DUNEDIN GYMNASTICS ACADEMY
Dunedin Gymnastic Academy will be closed from Monday 20th December to Sunday 12th of January. The girls get a new leotard as they progress into the next group and this is something that the gymnasts both value and get excited about. We welcome groups and other sports hiring our facility when it is not required for our core programmes. At present our GFA programmes and men's competitive gymnastics are run out of our Vogel St gym. We still have a few places left for our Gymnastics and Trampoline session during the first week of the school holidays.
We currently have spaces available in our Kiwi Gym Fun, Sport Gym Sport Fit classes. DGA are running a camp for step 1 4 gymnasts from the 25th 29th January!! A huge congratulations to all of our members who received awards at the end of year break up held on Sunday 13th December!! Great news Term 4 classes will start next week for all programmes, with Vogel St programmes training at a couple of temporary venues until the clean is complete around week 4 . It will provide the equipment lost due to asbestos contamination at Willis St, and also allow us to update equipment for our boys competition and recreational programmes in our Vogel St venue! Please get behind this project we need Vogel St families to help out both in upcoming fundraising initiatives and in working bees very soon. The Committee is a great group of people, who have gymnasts and or coach in all parts of the Club gym for all, play gym, rhythmic, aerobics and competitive gymnastics. We offer a number of Gym For All GFA programmes such as pre school, kiwi gym fun, sport gym for boys girls , parkour, trampolining and sport fit classes. This competition is to be held at our Willis St gym on Sunday 23rd August 2015.
